A former William Woods student drowned while diving at Table Rock Lake over the weekend.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Sara B. (Chappell) Deines of Lincoln, Neb., was separated from her dive partner on Friday and did not return to the surface. Her body was recovered Sunday and she was declared dead on scene by Assistant Coroner John Cunnyngham that afternoon.
Deines, 30, was a former student at William Woods University, where she was a member of the Alpha Phi sorority.
