Rudroff to play in Missouri Lions All-Star Game on Saturday

South Callaway graduate Garner Rudroff will play the final game of his high school football career in the 38th-annual Missouri Lions All-Star Game on Saturday night in Warrensburg.

Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. at the University of Central Missouri's Walton Stadium/Vernon Kennedy Field.

The 5-foot-9, 150-pound Rudroff will be a wide receiver on the Gold team, which will be directed by Tipton head coach Tony Braby.

Rudroff led South Callaway last season with 15 catches for 361 yards receiving (24.1 average) and five touchdowns. He was also second on the team in rushing with 466 yards (8.8 average) and seven scores.

A two-time Class 2 state champion in the long jump, Rudroff will compete in track and field at NCAA Division II Missouri Southern State University in Joplin.

Tickets for Saturday night's game are $10 for adults and $5 for students, and will be available at the gate.
