Nine William Woods University athletic teams recently earned NAIA Scholar-Team recognition. To be selected, a team must have a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale as defined by the respective institution. The team GPA includes all eligible varsity athletes.
The following William Woods teams were honored: baseball, men's soccer, softball, volleyball, women's basketball, women's cross country, women's indoor and outdoor track and field, and women's soccer.
This marked the ninth consecutive semester that William Woods' athletic teams had a collective 3.0 GPA.The highest team GPA went to the softball squad (3.59), while 39 individual athtletes earned a perfect 4.0.
