Callaway sheriff's office seeks Calwood man accused of threats, failure to appear in court

The sheriff's office is looking for a man who failed to appear in court and is believed to be a threat to others.

The Callaway County Sheriff's Office issued a press releasing stating it is searching for Wendell "Scotty" Belisle.

The 39-year-old Calwood resident reportedly made threats to victims, witnesses and law enforcement, the press release stated.

"Belisle is known to carry firearms and should be considered armed," the press release stated.

Belisle is wanted on warrants for failure to appear in court for cases which he is charged with domestic assault, tampering with a victim and possession cocaine, according to the press release. He is also charged with a traffic offense. He currently has four probation violation warrants.
