The Callaway County Head Start wants its Fulton families to have a ton of fun.
In honor of National Head Start Awareness Month, the organization will hold its first "Full Ton of Fun" event, 4:30-6 p.m. Oct. 29.
Child and Family Development Advocate Melanie Stotler said that the event will be a partnership with several organizations and businesses in the community.
"We asked community members to come and get involved and learn more about the Head Start and Early Head Start program," Stotler said. "We have community members coming in to set up a table and do some activities with children, and we will provide information as well to support our families and community."
Activities will range from face-painting, crafts and a Touch a Truck held by the Fulton police and fire departments and the Callaway County Ambulance District.
