Callaway cowboy church hosts western-themed event

Even though the Old West has faded into the past, the Crossroads Cowboy Church is giving people a taste of what it might have been like on Saturday, Oct. 26.

In a first-time event that will be free to the public, the church has lined up live music, horseback rides, a children's arena, a petting zoo, wagon rides, the CrossWind Ranch Spirit Riders and more. Food will be available for purchase from a chuck wagon and several vendors will also have goods for sale. The night will close with a group of daredevil bull riders.

One of the most exciting events and interesting events, according to Pastor Joey Owen, will be the horse whisperer, David Case.
