Fulton Police arrest three for vandalism

Fulton Police arrested three people accused of vandalism early Friday morning, according to a press release from the police department.

Timothy E. McGrael, 17, William H. Durst, 17, and Nathaniel D. Weir, 23, all of Fulton were arrested about 2:30 a.m. Friday and subsequently charged with vandalism-related activity.

Police responded to several incidents, first to investigate a broken driver's side rear window of a 2004 Toyota sedan on near 3 Lynn Ave. Police then received a call about three men discharging a firearm near Eighth Street.

Police arrested McGrael, Durst and Weir, accusing them of these acts. Police believe they are also responsible for pushing over a basketball goal and damaging city streetlights with a pellet rifle.

Police also believe Durst and McGrael are responsible for property damage that occurred in October.

McGrael is facing charges of property damage in the first and second degree and unlawful use of a weapon. His bond is set at $5,500. Durst's charges are property damage in the first and second degree, and his bond is set at $5,000. Weir is facing the charge of property damage in the first degree and is being held on $4,500 bond.
