North Callaway senior Adam Crawford capped off his only trip to the Class 2 state cross country championships with a 33rd-place finish of 17 minutes, 49.60 seconds Saturday at the Oak Hills Golf Center.
Lamar junior Kaden Overstreet won the Class 2 individual state title in 16:35.22 and Fatima came away with the team championship with an average time of 17:29.04.
South Callaway senior Andrea Rodriguez, a first-time qualifier, crossed the finish line in 21:44.18 to place 38th in the Class 2 girls' championship. Fellow senior Taylor Howard - a four-time qualifier -Â finished 64th in 22:24.52.
Sophomore Courtney Rodgers of Lutheran (St. Peters) captured the Class 2 individual title, running a time of 19:24.98. Fatima also secured the girls' team championship, averaging 20:43.06 per runner.
Fulton junior Grant Gaines - a first-time qualifier - took 67th in the Class 3 boys' race in 17:53.00. Festus junior Tyler Gillam clocked a time of 15:57.48 to win the individual title, while Potosi's average of 16:43.79 earned it the team championship.
