Lady Owls golf team takes sixth at NAIA championships

LINCOLN, Neb. - The William Woods University Lady Owls ended up with a sixth-place finish at the NAIA women's golf national championships after Friday's fourth and final round at Wilderness Ridge Country Club.

William Woods completed the championships with a 1,260 total (316-312-309-323). Oklahoma City won the national title with a 1,224, followed by second-place British Columbia (1,236), Embry-Riddle in third (1,244), Cal State-San Marcos fourth (1,245), and Lubbock Christian University fifth (1,251).
