BOONVILLE - The Fulton Lady Hornets soccer team endured another near-miss against the Boonville Lady Pirates, this one coming with a trip to the state playoffs on the line.
Bailey Pfeiffer was responsible for the game's only goal, scoring in the 22nd minute of the first half, and Boonville made it stand up by outlasting Fulton 1-0 in the Class 1, District 8 championship Wednesday night.
