Thunderbirds stay perfect in EMO, overpower Wellsville 13-3

Three North Callaway players combined to go 9-for-9 with four runs batted in Tuesday night as the Thunderbirds stayed unbeaten in the Eastern Missouri Conference by punishing Wellsville 13-3 in five innings.

Sophomore first baseman Paul Zerr finished 3-for-3 with a double, drove in two runs and scored once as part of North Callaway's 12-hit attack. Junior third baseman Chance Kee and junior second baseman Tanner Murphy were also 3-for-3, both with a double, an RBI and two runs scored.
