To clear city streets, Fulton Street Division crews battled snow on Sunday and ice on Monday.
Gary Felkner, Fulton Street Division supervisor, said all city streets were cleared of snow by 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
But melting snow and light sleet began to freeze on city streets early Monday morning.
"The trouble spots were ice on hills. Our crews salted those areas," Felkner said. "There was more ice on bridge decks and also on Ravine and Wood streets."
Drifting caused some problems in the city but not as much as in open areas outside the city.
"We had a little drifting problem on Wood Street, Industrial Drive and Tennyson Road," Felkner said.
He said crews were working Monday to make sure stormwater drains were open and draining well.
