William Woods junior forward Priscila Santos capped off her inaugural season with the Lady Owls by being named a second-team NAIA Division I All-American.
Santos, a native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, is the sixth All-American in William Woods women's basketball history and the Lady Owls' third player in the last five years to receive the lofty honor. Rachel Baker - in 2010-11 - is William Woods' only other second-team All-American.
"I think it's a well-deserved honor for Pri," Lady Owls head coach Dan Chapla said. "I thought the way she played in the two games in the national tournament really stapled the fact that she is one of the best players in the country."
