Caroline Lamons-Trowbridge and her husband, Fred, of Fulton went to Missouri Lottery headquarters in Jefferson City to claim a $40,000 Powerball prize she won in a June 5 drawing. Ten years earlier she won $50,000 playing another Missouri Lottery game.

Caroline Lamons-Trowbridge of Fulton this month won $40,000 by picking numbers in the June 5 Missouri Lottery Powerball game.

Her husband, Fred Trowbridge, says his wife was "reclaiming her title as the luckiest person in the family."

It wasn't Lamons-Trowbridge's first win playing Missouri Lottery games. Ten years earlier in July of 2003, she collected two other Missouri Lottery prizes. They were a $50,000 taxes-paid prize on a game called Show Me 5 Paydown that has since been replaced by Show Me Cash, and also a $3,000 Pick 4 prize.

Lamons-Trowbridge bought her latest winning Quick Pick Powerball ticket at C&R Supermarket, 640 Commons Drive in Fulton.

Her winning numbers were: 4, 26, 33, 36, 55, and the Powerball was 32. She matched all four white-ball numbers and the Powerball, which earns a $10,000 prize. But when she bought the ticket she paid an additional $1 to add the Power Play option, which bumped up the value of the winning number to $40,000.
