Westminster College President Barney Forsythe and his wife Jane have volunteered to serve as honorary campaign chairs for the 2013-2014 Callaway County United Way fundraising campaign.

Forsythe has been president of Westminster College since 2008. The Forsythes moved to Fulton in 2005.

"It's not only an honor to be asked," Jane Forsythe said, "but a wonderful opportunity for Barney and me to give back to our community. The United Way is a powerful force for change in Callaway County and we want to help in any way we can."

Barney Forsythe said both he and his wife are eager to begin the campaign.

"We look to the leadership of the United Way to point us in the direction that we do the most good for this campaign and the community we call home," Forsythe said.
