Dr. Mar Doering of Holts Summit, center, has been inducted to the Missouri Veterinary Foundation Veterinary Honor Roll. With her is foundation board member Dr. Roger Dozier of Jefferson City and Julie Braun, operations manager of the Missouri Veterinary Medical Foundationi of Jefferson City.

Dr. Mar Doering, a Holts Summit veterinarian who also is regarded as an expert in training dogs with behavior problems, has been inducted into the Missouri Veterinary Medical Foundation's Veterinary Honor Roll.

Doering hosted a weekly public television program "The Pet Connection - With Dr. Mar Doering."

In 1979 Doering received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri. The next year she founded the Animal Clinic of South Callaway and has practiced as a veterinarian in Central Missouri for the last 32 years.

In addition to operating a small animal veterinary clinic, Doering served as public information director and urban extension veterinarian for the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine from 1983 to 1984.
