2013 Kingdom Supper President Vicki Backer McDaniel didn't have to look far when contemplating whom she should select as the Guest of Honor for this year's event. She went to the first person who came to mind: Her brother-in-law, Kyle Cave.

The Dixie native and Fulton graduate, now a professor and associate chair of the psychology department at the University of Massachusetts, will return as one of Callaway's honored sons for the Supper on March 12 at William Woods University.

"I think he has done well, and he's a little different kind of honoree than is usual," McDaniel said, noting a number of past guests of honor have more of a business-centered background. "He's an educator, and I think he's just done really well and is humble about his success, and it was a good opportunity to honor him."
