South Callaway junior guard Taylor Howard led the way with 20 points, including 16 in the second half, to guide the Lady Bulldogs to a 53-43 win over the North Callaway on Thursday night.
The Ladybirds trailed 24-19 at the start of the third, but began the second half on a 6-2 run to cut their deficit to 26-25 with six minutes gone in the third. From there, South Callaway ran off 10 in a row, including six from Howard, to go into the fourth quarter up 36-25.
