MONTGOMERY CITY - Freshman guard Sloane Totta tallied a game-high 16 points and the Fulton Lady Hornets continued their upward trend by easily disposing of Montgomery County 54-19 on Thursday night.
Sophomore guard Dacrie Depping pitched in with 10 points for Fulton, which led 17-7 after one quarter and bolted into halftime with a 30-9 advantage. The Lady Hornets owned a formidable 49-15 edge to start the fourth quarter.
"This was a good win for us," Fulton head coach TJ Quick said. "Sometimes when you come out in a game like this, you either find yourself sluggish or playing to the other team's tempo and style.
"We came out and attacked, got up early and never looked back."
