Lady Hornets lose late to St. Clair at Rolla Tournament

Fulton gives up lead in fourth quarter, loses fifth in a row

Sloane Totta and NaShayla Brandt registered double-digit scoring performances for Fulton but it wasn't enough as the Lady Hornets fell to St. Clair 60-56 on Thursday afternoon in the first round of the US Bank/Rolla Invitational tournament at Rolla High School.

Totta, a sophomore guard, led Fulton and tied for the game-high with 18 points while handing out eight assists. Brandt, a sophomore forward, dropped in 15 points to go along with a team-leading nine rebounds and sophomore guard Rachel Guse' added eight points as the Lady Hornets finished the game shooting 45 percent (20-of-44) and collected 28 rebounds.
