Members of the Mid Missouri Christian Church sang Christmas carols Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Fulton. Director Brian Smith said 25 singers performed on Tuesday, and this was the ensemble's first time performing during the Christmas season.

The performance, he added, was very traditional, but enjoyed the variety the dance team and children gave to the show.

Adam Rufkar, 21 of Fulton, performed a solo during the song "Worship the One" during the Mid Missouri Christian Choir performance at First Baptist Church in Fulton on Tuesday. Rufkar, a tenor, said once he goes past focusing on the vocal techniques, he concentrates on God's word. "You don't feel anything for yourself," Rufkar said. "You just feel God everywhere."

Rufkar said the group started practicing for Tuesday's concert in September. The choir, comprised of singers ages are 16 and older, is a community choir which Rufkar said is welcome for any person. "Everyone who is in this loves God and does this for him," Rufkar said.
