Fulton man arrested for domestic assault, robbery

The Fulton Police Department arrested a man who allegedly forced his girlfriend to withdraw money from her bank account, authorities said.

Patrick L. Anderson, 42, was arrested and charged with domestic assault, second degree robbery and felonious restraint after officers responded to 905 W. 7th St. for a domestic disturbance call 1:50 a.m. Sunday.

Fulton Maj. Roger Rice said that officers met with a 38-year-old woman who said that Anderson, her boyfriend of four years, had dragged her off of the couch by her hair while she was sleeping, demanding that she drive to the ATM and withdraw $100 for him.
