Traffic to be disrupted to repair buckled roads

Traffic along U.S. 54 and Route H inside Fulton will be disrupted slightly for the next two weeks during pavement repairs by the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Extremely hot weather this summer caused area highway pavements to buckle at numerous places, requiring replacement of small sections of the roadway this fall.

The work this week and next will start Monday morning during daylight hours and is scheduled to be finished by Thursday, Oct. 11.

Work will be along U.S. 54 between the Business 54 exit and the Route H exit. One lane of traffic will be open through the work area and motorists are urged to slow down through the construction zone.

Concrete replacement work on Route H at U.S. 54 inside Fulton will occur from Monday through Thursday this week. One lane of traffic will be open through the work area and motorists are urged to slow down through the construction zone.
