T-Birds remain on roll, crush Wildcats

The North Callaway Thunderbirds extended their month-long charge, this time laying waste to the Wright City Wildcats.

North Callaway received production in every phase Friday night while obliterating Wright City 55-21 in an Eastern Missouri Conference blowout. The Thunderbirds scored on each of their six first-half possessions, their defense forced four turnovers - scoring on one - and special teams added a touchdown.

Coasting into halftime with an authoritative 48-0 advantage, then turning the game over to its backups, North Callaway picked up its fourth straight victory while improving to 4-2 overall and 3-0 in the EMO. During the streak, the Thunderbirds have outscored their opponents by a commanding 152-37 margin.
