Coil, Ladybirds rough up Wright City in EMO win

AUXVASSE - Junior catcher Kelsey Coil had a double and drove in three runs to help fuel a 13-hit rampage Tuesday night as the North Callaway Ladybirds walloped Wright City 11-1 in an Eastern Missouri Conference romp.

The game was called on the 10-run rule after five innings.

Coil finished 1-for-3 and scored a run as North Callaway improved to 10-3 overall and 5-1 in the EMO. Junior shortstop Jaida Gray went 3-for-3 and scored twice, while junior first baseman Maddie Sorell was 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored.
