October 23rd, 2012 in News

The Fulton Police Department arrested two Jefferson City men Saturday when a routine traffic stop led to the discovery of methamphetamine.

A Fulton officer pulled over a vehicle driven by Frederick A. Wenger, 47, at 8:29 p.m. at South Business 54 and Glenstone for driving without his headlights on. As the vehicle came to a stop, the officer observed the passenger, Randy R. Cook, 52, throw a metal tin from the passenger-side window.

The officer recovered the tin and found that it contained three baggies of methamphetamine and a needle with methamphetamine. Cook was also discovered to be in possession of what FPD officials described as a "sizable amount" of money.
