For North Callaway Thunderbirds head football coach Mike Emmons and his assistants, multi-tasking comes with the territory.
Emmons and his staff have been busily prepping for tonight's home opponent, Marionville, in the regular-season finale (kickoff at 7). Meanwhile, North Callaway's boss and his coaches are also peeking ahead to possible matchups for the onset of district play next week under the state's new playoff configuration.
Emmons, though, doesn't want the surging Thunderbirds (6-2) to cast a glance beyond their task tonight against the Comets (2-6). It will be the first-ever meeting between the two teams.
