Feb. 1 has been set as the target date to open a satellite dental clinic in Fulton operated by the Community Health Center of Central Missouri.

"It's a nice facility and it will serve us well if we are able to work out terms of the lease," Conover said.

He added the building under consideration has 3,500 square feet of space.

"If the lease can be arranged, we hope to have renovation construction completed and ready for occupancy by Feb. 1," Conover said.

In Fulton, all patients will be accepted. Conover added charges at the Fulton dental clinic will be based on annual income of patients and the number of people in the patient's family. Insurance also will be accepted.

Conover said Don Holloman has been named as the new chief executive officer of the Community Health Center of Central Missouri, which plans to open the dental clinic in Fulton.
