The William Woods University Lady Owls volleyball team - bolstered by a pair of double-double performances - is back in the semifinals of the American Midwest Conference postseason tournament for a second straight year.
Fourth-seeded William Woods advanced with a 23-25, 25-22, 25-16 and 25-23 quarterfinal triumph over No. 4 Hannibal-LaGrange University on Tuesday night at Anderson Arena. William Woods was coming off a 25-18, 30-28, 23-25 and 25-21 victory over Hannibal-LaGrange in the Nov. 1 regular-season finale in Fulton.
