CCSO arrest one, seek other after traffic stop reveals drugs

The Callaway County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Holts Summit man and search for a Cole County woman following a traffic stop Wednesday.

At around 2:09 a.m. Nov. 7, a CCSO deputy pulled over a vehicle on County Road 482 near State Road AA outside of Holts Summit. The deputy made contact with the driver and identified her as Lindsey Duncan.

The deputy also recognized her passenger as Bryce A. Vittetoe, 24, of Holts Summit. The deputy knew there was a Cole County warrant for possession of a controlled substance and a Morgan County warrant for probation violation form an original charge of burglary out for Vittetoe's arrest.

Vittetoe provided a false name and fled from the vehicle, and was arrested following a lengthy foot pursuit. The deputy allegedly found Vittetoe to be in possession of methamphetamine and three prescription pills. He is held at the Callaway County jail for $13,500 bond as well as the two no-bond warrants.

Duncan also fled the scene and was not located. She has a Cole County warrant for her arrest, and Callaway charges for resisting arrest and driving while suspended are pending.
