WWU men's golf team wins AMC title, qualifies for national play

LEBANON, Ohio - The William Woods University men's golf team easily wrapped up the American Midwest Conference title and earned the automatic bid for the NAIA national championship at the Unaffiliated Grouping I Qualifying tournament Tuesday.

William Woods rolled to the team title with a three-round total of 876 (291-286-299) at Shaker Run Golf Course. The Owls will compete in the 61st-annual NAIA men's national championship May 22-25 at Creekside Golf Club in Salem, Ore.
