Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney Chris Wilson said Monday that Callaway County Circuit Court Judge Gary M. Oxenhandler ordered Wilson and Public Defender Justin Carver to send him "a three-to-five-day window in time to have a trial."

"It will probably be December of this year or January of next year depending on his schedule and the schedules of the attorneys," Wilson said.

Plunkett, 38, is accused of fatally shooting her husband, retired 52-year-old Jefferson City police officer Paul Plunkett.
