Harrison, Thompson hit well for Owls in weekend tourney

The William Woods baseball team took three of four games at the Lake Shawnee Complex Tournament in Topeka over the weekend.

The Owls (10-5) dropped the final game of the weekend 6-4 on Sunday. In Sunday's first game, William Woods bested Northwestern College 10-1. Junior center fielder Jacob Harrison was 3-for-3 with a double and two RBI and junior left fielder Robert Butvin was 2-for-3 with an RBI and a double. Junior second baseman Jordan Thompson had a pair of hits and an RBI as well.
