A Fulton man was arrested on sexual assault charges Friday after a report was filed earlier in the week.
The Fulton Police Department received a report of a sexual assault involving a minor as the victim on Feb. 26.
According to an FPD press release, the ensuing investigation led to the arrest Friday of
Aaron M. Dannenmueller, 21, on two counts of second-degree statutory rape and one charge of second-degree statutory sodomy.
Lt. Andre Cook, head of detectives for the Fulton police, would not give any further details regarding the victim - including the victim's age. Cook did say that Dannenmueller "was known to the victim."
He said the investigation is ongoing.
