New Bloomfield church brings dinosaurs to Callaway

They have been called by some the mightiest creatures to ever roam the earth. For one weekend in March, they will roam into New Bloomfield as part of Freedom Christian Church's School Speakers Series.

March 2-4, the church is hosting the Mobile Museum of Earth History - commonly referred to as the Mobile Dinosaur Museum - a traveling exhibit featuring museum-quality replicas that is free and open to the public.

John Finley with Freedom Christian Church said the church decided to start the School Speakers Series last year because "we feel like there's good information out there that kids don't have access to."

"This is an opportunity to see beyond the four walls of their school," Finley said. "They'll be bringing in life-size skeletons.
