Westminster pushes past William Woods 52-40

Lady Blue Jays sophomore guard Leigh Ann Lutz led all players with 20 points in guiding Westminster to a 52-40 win over their cross town rival William Woods on Monday night. Lutz tallied 20 for a second straight game as the Lady Blue Jays won for an eighth straight time.

The teams were tied at 14 with 5 minutes, 32 seconds left in the first half before Westminster went into halftime on a 13-5 run, taking a 27-19 lead into the break. The Lady Blue Jays led by as many as 13 in the final 20 minutes.
