Teams answer questions at last year's Boyd and Boyd, Inc. and Friends Relay For Life Trivia Night held at the Saddle Saloon. This year the event will begin at 7 p.m. at KC Country.

Trivia fans can help out a good cause while playing games with their teammates at an upcoming benefit.

Boyd & Boyd, Inc. and Friends Relay For Life team will hold its second "Think While You Drink" Trivia Night at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13.

A couple changes have been made since last year's event. The Saddle Saloon hosted trivia-goers last year, but this time around KC Country in Kingdom City is donating the use of its facility. Instead of teams of six, teams will be made up of eight players. A dance will also be held after the games this year with a DJ playing music until 1 a.m.

Cost is $15 per player, and all proceeds from the event will go toward the Callaway County Relay For Life.

Cynthia Beckmeyer, event co-organizer, said the benefit raised $3,000 last year, and organizers expect to exceed that amount this year.

"I think everybody last year had a ball, and it was a wonderful fundraiser for the Relay For Life," Beckmeyer said.
