ASHLAND - The North Callaway Ladybirds were victimized by Southern Boone's 17-0 run spanning the first and second quarters in Tuesday night's 68-42 MMC loss to the Lady Eagles.
North Callaway led 13-8 in the first quarter when Southern Boone embarked on its run. The Ladybirds scored their lone point of the second quarter - a free throw by senior guard Jordan Gray - with 2 minutes, 13 seconds left, and North Callaway trailed 25-14 by then.
