Things had gone decently enough for the Fulton Hornets in the first 31 minutes, 15 seconds of their matchup against the Fatima Comets. But the final 45 seconds were not as kind.
Fulton lost the lead on a late 3-pointer and was never able to fully recover in a 49-45 loss to No. 2 Fatima in the boys' fifth-place game of the 28th-annual Southern Boone Classic on Friday night.
