FADC banquet to focus on "The Way We Will Work'

The Kingdom of Callaway Chamber of Commerce put its focus on the way Callaway has worked in the past during its recent banquet.

On March 1, the Fulton Area Development Corporation will put its emphasis squarely on the future with its annual banquet, which will explore "The Way We Will Work."

President Bruce Hackmann said the organization is looking at five different work sectors and "how they are doing things differently because of technological advances."

The Business Salute Banquet starts with a 5:30 p.m. social hour and dinner at 6:30 p.m. in the Tucker Dining Hall at William Woods University.

The main feature of the banquet will be a video that looks at what has and is changing in the fields of education, agriculture, labor and industry, business and commerce and communication. The presentation is intended to answer questions such as what kind of market changes businesses should anticipate, what skills and technology will make up the workplace of tomorrow and how area businesses can prepare for those opportunities.
