State to give school exams on computers

Tests begin in two years

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education plans to require schools to give achievement tests on computers starting with the 2014-15 school year.

The department reported a survey it conducted of schools reveals that 95 percent of Missouri's public schools already have the technology necessary to conduct computer-based achievement testing.
