Probation, parole agency donates almost 100 coats to Redeem Project

Members of the Fulton office of the Missouri Division of Probation and Parole Friday donated almost 100 coats to the Redeem Project, which provides services to former prison inmates reentering society.

Vicki Bullock of Fulton, founder and executive director of the Redeem Project, said the Redeem Project is a faith-based, non-profit agency that offers information on community resources and collaborates with many churches, agencies and businesses to serve former prison inmates and their families.

The Redeem Project, Bullock said, appreciates the generous donations to the Redeem Project by employees of the Missouri Division of Probation and Parole, and especially the Fulton office that donated the coats.

In addition to donations, the Redeem Project also provides free skills workshops, educational programs, individual tutoring and support groups.

To help the tornado-stricken people of Dumas and surroundings, donations can be made to the Delta Area Disaster Relief Fund, care of the Delta Area Community Foundation, P.O. Box 894, Dumas, AR, 71639, or through the Arkansas Community Foundation, 700 S. Rock St., Little Rock, AR, 72202.
