Holts Summit man arrested for drug possession, resisting arrest

Cale L. Woolsey, 34, of Holts Summit, was arrested Wednesday morning when he fled from a vehicle and was later recovered by the Callaway County sheriff's Department near several different types of controlled substances.

Woolsey was a passenger in a vehicle stopped at approximately 1:04 a.m. Dec. 19 on County Road 4012 by a deputy for a traffic violation. Woolsey jumped out of the vehicle and fled into the woods, where he was located shortly afterwards.

Close to the area Woolsey was found were several different types of controlled substances, including marijuana and methemphetamine.
