Jeffrey D. Strickland, who fled from a vehicle during a traffic stop in Calwood, turned himself in to the sheriff's office at approximately 6:30 p.m.

Strickland was wanted on a Boone County felony warrant for forgery, and Callaway warrants on probation violation and trespassing. Resisting arrest and assault on law enforcement charges were added following the incident in Calwood in which he fled from a vehicle following a traffic stop, injuring a sheriff's deputy's hand in the process.
