Local residents looking for a fresh coat of red on their toes, a new hairstyle, a deeper tan or a relaxing massage now have a new option in Fulton.

Owners Megan MacVittie and Brenda Morris say they hope Jewell Salon and Spa will become a favorite gathering place for their patrons.

"We don't want customers to feel like clients when they come here," MacVittie said. "Jewell Salon wants to make friends."

"With everyone that walks in the door," Morris interjected. "Customer service is so important to both of us. When you come in we'll have coffee, beverages and snacks available to them."

She said developing that rapport will be what makes Jewell special.

"What sets us apart right now is that we listen to our clients," Morris said. "If you go somewhere else for a massage, it might be like an assembly line. We take the time to talk to someone, find out what they want us to do and do our best to give it to them."

MacVittie took that opportunity to say that, "Hands-down, Brenda gives the best massage in town."
