AUXVASSE - Every parent hopes and prays for a healthy baby, but when their friends weren't blessed with one, an Auxvassse couple have stepped up to help out.

Mike and Kacee Klamm will be hosting "A Dinner for Addison" Saturday, April 28, a fundraising dinner, raffle and silent auction to raise funds for a family friend's newborn daughter who has already had four surgeries in her short life, with a fifth in her near future.

Kacee Klamm's coworker and friend gave birth to Baby Addison on Jan. 23, 2012. Within a day, Addison was in surgery to remove a cyst from her brain, and spent the first week of her life in ICU.
