Fulton junior first baseman Anastacia Galbreath had three hits, including a grand slam, and drove in six runs Thursday night in the Lady Hornets' 16-6 NCMC rout of visiting Hannibal.

The game was called on the 10-run rule after six innings.

Galbreath went 3-for-4 with a double and a single as Fulton (6-11, 5-5 North Central Missouri Conference) finished with 10 hits. Freshman Brooke Baysinger - who collected the victory in relief - was also 2-for-3 with a double, a single, two RBI and a run scored.

Junior shortstop Rachel Snethen finished 2-for-3 with two singles, two RBI and scored once, while senior third baseman Rachel Washington was 1-for-2 with a single and three runs scored.

Washington also drew three of the Lady Hornets' 14 walks.

"In the later innings, we were being more selective and making the pitcher work," Fulton head coach Laura Dooley-Wilder said.

Baysinger gave up three runs - one earned - on five hits in four innings. She struck out five and walked two.

The Lady Hornets (3-4) won the junior varsity game 6-5 in three innings. Baysinger recorded the victory, striking out five. Junior catcher Laney Kaskus went 2-for-2 with two RBI and senior center fielder Savannah Kaskus was 2-for-2 with an RBI.
