Three face drug charges after Fulton Police arrests

Two men and one woman, all of Columbia, are in Callaway County Jail after they were arrested Friday by Fulton Police on a variety of drug charges.

Police report an officer at 1:04 a.m. Friday attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation in Fulton near Westminster Avenue and 5th Street. The car did not stop until it reached the intersection of Jefferson Street and 2nd Street.

Police reported the driver, Donald D. Williams, 25, Columbia, had cocaine and drug paraphernalia in his possession.

Police searched the vehicle and found a large bag containing 15 smaller bags of marijuana packaged for sale.

Williams was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. Bond for Willliams was set at $55,000.

Two passengers in the vehicle were Lionel S. Gurley, 34, and Natasha R. Dewey, 27, both of Columbia, Both were arrested for possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and their bond was set at $50,000 each.

Williams is on probation for burglary and domestic assault.

Gurley and Dewey also are on probation for previous felony charges of possession of a controlled substance.
