Clerk to face charges of selling alcohol to a minor

During a liquor law compliance check conducted by the Fulton Police Department Wednesday evening, a clerk at The Market Liquor Store was written up for selling alcohol to a minor.

At around 8 p.m. Wednesday, Amber N. Butler, 22, of Fulton, was issued a summons for selling a six pack of alcohol to an 18-year-old female.

Maj. Roger Rice, of the FPD, said the department does periodic liquor law compliance checks to make sure city bars and liquor stores are adhering to alcohol regulations.
