Callaway County Road and Bridge Department 2012 budget requests are about $600,000 above the department's expected revenue, the Callaway County Commission learned Monday.
The commission is working its way through budget requests from all county agencies during the process of crafting next year's county budget.
Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann said the Callaway County Road and Bridge Department budget requests total about $3.9 million and anticipated revenue for the department is about $3.3 million.
